THIS PHOTO // pretty much sums up every ticking minute of this red-head's clock for the past week. Between an entire bathroom renovation, eleven trips to home-depot (you know how it goes) and a whole home packed into cardboard boxes, we have been on the move! So I thought I would let you all know that for now you can find me sorting through things and playing with paint cans -- but be assured, next week things will be back on the upswing! Anyone in for a packing party?

Hunted Treasures: MID-CENTURY MADNESS
SLEEK PROFILES // and minimalistic designs make up the creations behind Canadian woodworker and designer Christian Woo. The pieces in his Covert collection are made of sustainable harvested hardwoods and hand rubbed oil finishes with thin bands of organic color to add a lil' party vibe! I'll take one of each please.

Project It: FREEHAND QUILTING
CREATING // pretty things has always been a part of my life since I was a young pig-tailed red-head spending weekends in grandmas craft room. There is something so satisfying and calming about making something. When I came across these images I couldn't help but imagine these scraps of fabric being sewn together to create a gigantic quilt! Imagine a sea of patchwork with no rhyme or reason, just simple texture and imagnation laying at the end of your bed. An organized mess. That's my favorite kind.

House Peeks: KELLY WEARSTLER

THE SIGNATURE // style of Kelly Wearstler is all about modernism, mid-century and glamour all coming together in a big group hug. Here's a little peek into her renovated beach house and 80's post modern Hollywood mansion. She's an antique, bold color and glossy metal mixer creating sophisticated and controversial spaces. Like it or love it?

House Peeks: LONDON CALLING

BLACK + WHITE // have never been better friends. This little piece of London sings the classic style and color pallette of icon Coco Chanel, almost swaying me to box up anything in my own space that doesn't fit into this grey scale spectrum. Saved during the recent remodel was the ornate + original Victorian staircase and among many drool-worthy items, the Tom Dixon lights were added over the dining table. Paired with the striped dining chairs, you could call it pure perfection!

STYLE IT.
I HAVE // always noticed and loved the direct parallel
between top fashion-week runways and the design details featured in
interior magazine spreads and store fronts. It only seems natural that
our closet collection would bleed into the style and design of our
living spaces. So I am testing out this new column -- pairing runway and
street fashion to an interior parallel. Seems pretty fun right? Let me
know if you want to see a handful more!

Red-head Street Style // SKIRTING AROUND

PUTTING // on a piece that creates a big impact with little effort is one of my favorite ways to dress in the summer heat. It's all about bright colors + simple basics and a swipe of red lipstick. I picked up this maxi skirt back in October and finally mustered up the courage to pull it out and try something fun with it! The flow and length of this piece made a day filled with jazz festival concerts, errand running and photo-shoots feel like a greek-island dream.
