LEGO LOFT

RENOVATING // a Manhattan loft can be loads of fun, especially when it involves blonde hardwood + sketchy graphics and a staircase constructed completely of LEGO! Thats right -- 20,000 pieces of the colorful plastic were joined together on-site to create this sculptural staircase. The artist behind it all used a free-form process and designed various shape + color + density patterns to create nothing short of awesome. It sure makes all those years of stacking building blocks as a kid seem like treasured time!

  1. What an interesting loft! I love the way the LEGO's add just a touch of quirk without being too childish. Very cool :)

  2. I loved LEGO as a child one of my favourite pass times, this makes me want to bring the all out from the basement.
